In addition to living a life of freedom, running a small business, and hiking mountains, another passion of mine is living a green and earth friendly lifestyle. I wanted to take a minute and make my readers aware of a really cool project going on over at the Hip Mountain Mama Blog.

Hip Mountain Mama has developed a project called one small change. The idea of the project is to encourage everybody to make a couple of small changes that combined with everyone else, leads to a large impact on our environment. Hip Mountain Mama asks everyone to commit to making one small change each month leading up to Earth Day (April, 22) 2010. There are many earth friendly prizes available to those who participate.

It is amazing how such little changes can add up to a huge impact. Please join me in making the commitment to the environment. It only takes One Small Change.

One Response to “One Small Change”

  1. I just came across Hip Mountain Mama Blog.today and have linked her to my site. Then I found your’s with the link to One Small Change. I love the energy you are all putting into this and we as a family would love to join you in this effort. We will be doing our part to make little changes. We have not used paper towels for over a year in our home. I was given way too many cloth diapers when my second child was born so with the new packs of folding diapers we just started using them as cloth napkins and rags and drying towels. The girls love to clean the windows with them. We are planning to tye dye them soon.
    Thanks
