About
My name is Drew. I am a 30-something, fun loving, outdoorsman, and experience business professional who loves his two daughters and wonderful wife.
I climbed the corporate ladder all the way to Vice President of a $2 Billion publically traded financial institution. I’ve attended banking conventions in plush resorts, entertained customers from the center court suite of NBA and NHL games, and lived in a new home with a nice neighborhood pool. This made my mother and grandmother proud, but it never meant anything to me. It was amazing. I was living a dream. But is wan’t my dream. I never wanted any of this. It just happened.
Before my corporate climb I lived as a ski bum for 3 years including 2 summers of living homeless by choice. I always preferred the simple life. I don’t get a thrill from owning nice possessions. I just like having free time to do the things I love.
This blog is not just about me. I am doing this for all of the people who feel like they are stuck in dead end jobs. I have been an inspiration for those in my life and I hope to help you find your own bliss.
Topics will include entreprenuerialism, corporate life, the changing workplace, following your dreams, living simply, and living life to its fullest. I hope you enjoy the humor in the stories I share but I also hope to be informative and helpful. I appreciate your comments, feedback, and topic suggestions. I also would be interested in guest bloggers from time to time if someone has a post that would fit.
Thank you for your interest. Now get out there and live your life…
Drew
